Designed by Jerry Shillcock and named by Vin Sherburne in the late 1980s on the banks of the famed Beaverkill in New York, the Softshoe has evolved from guide secret to a popular (and deadly) fly that can salvage otherwise tough days on the water. Drift & Mend is proud to offer this design as a result of a direct collaboration with Jerry Shillcock himself!
